Can I be Mad at the Hand I was Dealt?
Sometimes, Life Just Doesn't Seem Fair ...
Sure, you can be as mad as you want, but anger and self-pity won’t change anything. That would be an exercise in futility and a waste of energy.
Okay, now that you’ve gotten good and mad anyway, what are you prepared to do about it? How are you going to change things to make your life better? You are the only one who can decide what’s best for you, because you are the one who’s responsible for your life —-no one else knows it like you do.
… besides, they’re all busy with their own lives ...
Life is never going to be all easy, nor will it always be fair, but it’s up to you to make the changes you need to at least be comfortable in it. You were given this life because you were thought to be strong enough to live it.
Respect yourself! Walk away from what no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy. Be honest about who you are and what you want.
Hang in there and don’t give up —sometimes the bad things that happen put us directly on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us.
There is a quote that I have hanging on my fridge and it does help when I’m feeling overwhelmed. It whispers a subtle message to … be patient:
"When things seem to be falling apart, they may actually be falling into place."
