Earth is a predictably unpredictable place. Every day, there are things discovered to be possible that were previously deemed impossible, i.e., flying faster than the speed of sound; putting a man in space, and later, on the moon.

Something truly impossible cannot be done and cannot happen —ever. No amount of study or testing can or will ever prove them to be possible. Most things considered impossible are so, because they violate established laws of physics, or they relate to limitations of the human body

Looking around on the Internet, I found an interesting compilation of truly impossible facts:

It is impossible to sneeze with your eyes open.
It’s impossible to win the lottery if we don’t buy a ticket.
It’s impossible to put your fist in your mouth.
It’s impossible to lick your own elbow.
It’s impossible for a human to fly without some sort of aid.
It’s impossible to lick your eyeball.

It’s impossible to make the world go silent.
