Our 10-lb. ADHD Chihuahua, Ree-Ree (Nova Marie), loves to go for rides in our golf cart. She has her own seat on the back, a wire basket with a blanket so it’s soft.
She knows the signs and watches for them. It begins with Mommy and Daddy putting on hats for the wind and Mommy wears perfume. Those are instant clues that must set off her “go bye-bye” alarm …
Mommy-Daddy go OUT? Mommy-Daddy have top on (hats)? Mommy have foo-foo? Ree-Ree go? Me go? Huh? Please?
The whole time, she’s doing her little chicken dance bouncing on her hind legs, wagging her whole body, racing around us and twirling in complete circles, jumping on Robert’s legs, more twirling, body wagging, dancing on hind legs, jumping on me (repeat) (repeat) …

awwww I love happy dogs! so much JOY.
My sunset walks here started because I would go out at the time on what I called my "Dog walks." I loved walking along the streets where everyone was taking their dogs out in the evening. I just love seeing their happy little faces and their happy feet. And how they look up at their owners with so much adoration.
I think your fur child talks quite eloquently—through you.
