Thirty was uneventful except for a haircut I didn't like. For me 35 was a big year. I was married and went mountain and jungle trekking in Northern Thailand. When we returned to the U.S. I started having very high, cyclical fevers. The first couple lineups of doctors would not listen to my travel history. Instead they tested me for brain cancer, liver cancer, etc., and botched a spinal tap for which they claimed I consented. I was stoned on fever and opioid, so I couldn't have given an informed consent. So I advise against hesitancy at 30. They're out to get you at any age.

Bob, I’m so sorry you had to go through that. How awful! I’m glad it all turned out okay and you’re here. You are such an excellent writer and a good friend.

You may be a pro-ager, but I've seen your photos, remember ... you're one of those people with timeless good looks. Wrinkles only add character to faces like yours. ❤️

😂😂😂, yours, my wrinkles run deep 🤣, l call them laughter lines … they run so deep l have to embrace them 🤦‍♀️🤣🥰. My mother always tried to encourage me to look after my face … no, out in the sun, at the beach, all day. My sister inherited the smooth Slavic skin of our father’s side … and she looked after her skin.

My sister is like yours. She’s three years younger though and I keep telling her … just wait!

I was a lifeguard every summer in high school. Sun, sun, sun, like you.

Who moves out at 30 these days? :/

I envy Gen X and Older in that regards, only Millionaires can move out these days.

Costs $1-$2 Million dollars to buy a house.

I'll agree, it probably is hard for today's sons and daughters to go out on their own by 30. However, housing costs depend on where you buy. Both coasts are probably the most expensive, but there are a lot of great cities where the housing is much less. Do some research online. Thank you for your comment, Simon.

You’re welcome.

Guess that explains the issue, grew up on the coast.

This is my raw 30 1/2 year old perspective on adulting currently.

Thanks so much for bringing the interior up. :)
