To me as an Author

I would be interested to hear from other Authors about something I’ve been asked several times over the years. This came in an email, but I’ve also heard it in writing communities and from people I’ve met in general:

“As an Author, do you find your immediate family members less interested in your writing and books than typical non-related readers of your writing?”
