We meet all types of people on this human journey. Some meet with tragedy and go off the deep end when there is help for their healing. This is an encounter I had with someone years ago in a hospital waiting room while I waited for Mama to have her chemo one morning:
Out of the blue, this young man said, “Life is totally meaningless. We live. We die.”
“Excuse me, sir?”
“So, what's the point?” he asked.
“I’m sorry, but the way you’re looking at it, ‘What’s the point of living, if we’re going to die?’ Yes, then what is the point?”
(silence)
“Are you waiting for an answer? Do you want my opinion?”
