So, that's what I was doing wrong--I don't often go down the frozen food aisle (too cold, haha). I'll put on my long-sleeves and venture down there next time. Thanks for the timely tip--baseball (sliders?) season coming up ;-)
I'll stick with the only slider I ever knew--plain burger with those great steam-fried onions. I can't believe the frozen ones will taste the same, but I'll soon find out!
In the grocery, try looking in the frozen food freezer, Carol. We can get those --regular and cheeseburger --right in the frozen food freezer in the grocery store. (ours is Publix). Every once in awhile, we get them. Yum!
I was just thinking about Carvel a couple of days ago! But we didn't call it ice cream. It was "frozen custard" because it contained egg yolks. I knew many people who, once they had it, would never go back to "real" ice cream again!

Hahaha, you're too funny! Yeah, White Castle also has chicken sliders in the freezer and they're pretty good, too. My favorite is the cheeseburger.

Let me know what you think. I thought they tasted like they came right from the drive through.
There are 29 Carvel locations in Florida, C.J.! And over 300 in the Northeast. Have fun finding them all!
You have toggled my curiosity. Now I will try their ice cream! Whoopie!
I'm envious. Wish we had one here. Also wish we had White Castles--those sliders go down real easy behind a lick of frozen custard.

I've never had Carvel. Do they still make it? Where could I go to find some? I want to test your theory! (big grin)
