When Should I Leave? He said, Please don’t leave, this is Monday. Mondays are tough just as they are and besides, Mondays hint at a beginning not an end. He said, Please don’t leave this is Tuesday Tuesdays I work late. I will want to be here when you leave. He said, Please don’t leave this is Wednesday. We met on a Wednesday. You even think of Wednesday as our special day. He said, Please don’t leave this is Thursday. That’s when you play raquetball at the club. There isn’t time for leaving then. He said, Please don’t leave this is Friday. It’s been a long week and we’re both tired let’s rest, shall we? I know … how about we talk on Saturday? We’ll have supper then stay up all night talking if you want to. If you still think you should go you can leave on Sunday. Well, that was a big surprise. I’m glad we talked It’s good we agree. There still is enough love here. We’ll close the blinds. I know Sundays are meant to be a day of rest, but … I think this Sunday will be different.

Thank you for restacking this post, @Jane Deegan
I have left already. I love the repetition in this poem. See you on the other side.
