Yes, I have done that! I have donated plenty of clothes that don't fit anymore! And I'm still donating clothes that I hardly have worn or clothes that I have never worn! I would order clothes and more clothes but I do not need any more clothes! I don't order as much now. Maybe a pair or two pairs of pants or pj's! I don't need tops! And I really don't need pants! I have two closets full of clothes but I am trying to donate clothes that I don't need!
This story is partially autobiographical, from when I became a Vietnam War widow in 1969. I still have one of Doug’s old suits I can’t part with because the memories are so strong. That is the basis for this flash fiction.
