Awwww, that’s exactly my sentiments about you as a poet and writer! I love your work! I enjoy that childhood wonders and the whimsical side of things. Your words brought me back to all the times that were just naive and magical, exactly how I want to remember childhood!

Thank you, Wen, you’re always there for me … for support, for a shoulder, or for that someday cup of coffee or glass of wine with me.

Thank you.

CJ. You are a wonderful poet. I just read "Dancing Fairies." and it's absolutely great. I just purchased "Barking Spiders." I think there is another writer of children's poems that you might love. Her name is Eleanor Farjeon. She was an English writer who also wrote children novels. My favorite is THE SILVER CURLEW. Another great poet, who sometimes wrote for children, is Langson Huges. His collection of children's poetry is one of my prized books.

Hello Sandy. Thank you very much! I’m glad you liked “Dancing Fairies”. When I was a child, I was convinced I could see them on a warm summer evening, dancing under the weeping willow tree in the back yard.

I’m a little familiar with Hughes, but not Farjeon.

Margaret certainly popped out a lot of books. She did receive notice from two organizations, neither of which do I know anything about:

1991 Annual Award of the Children's Reading Round Table of Chicago

1993 The Women's National Book Association Michigan Bookwoman of the Year

Also this next thing, whatever it may be:

1997 The Women of Wayne State “Headliner”

All found via Wikipedia.

No idea if her books are still in circulation.
