The aroma connects to the event. I like that, how the smell of the shoe polish told you that you would be going to church.

It’s amazing how that works for me. How about for you, Lauren?

I had an interesting experience, smelling coffee in the morning when no one was making coffee. My husband couldn’t smell it. I was sure I was being visited by my dead relatives who were big coffee drinkers. One morning a few days after asking them to visit me, I smelled the coffee. I grabbed my camera and took photos all around the room. I captured many orbs in front of the curtains in our bedroom.

Wow, Lauren, that’s really amazing! I would love it if you wrote about that —what led up to it and the orbs at the conclusion.

Amazing!

These are fine reminiscences which i can corroborate from my own childhood. To these I might add the smell of horse maure and the powerful scent of elephant droppings at the zoo.

Hilarious! I’ve always known I could count on you for the more … uh …sensitive … sides of life ...

Oh my, C.J.! Stinky feet are a smell you never forget! It’s amazing how well we remember scents. This brought so many smells to mind.

I’m so glad, Rod. That was my intention. That and a smile. I love it when you play along.

Hi C.J, l love opening and smelling books, l still do it and one of the reasons l don’t read books online. I love to hold the book. My mother sends me signs from across the veil, cigarette smoke mingled with her perfume. Sometimes it follows me from her studio back over to the main house. The smell of my great grandmother’s farm house, l can conjure it. ❤️
