I count things unnecessarily. For example, taking clothes out of the washer or dryer I silently count each item. I asked an OCD expert about it and he said it's just a quirk, not OCD.

That’s a perfect example of an odd personal fact! Thank you for playing along, Dave.

I learned to make my own egg nog. I can do the curl the tongue thing too. One of my favorite cars was a Mercedes 500S, another a dark green, 1972 BMW 2002 . I had two VW beetle convertibles, one 1973 red, one 1979 yellow, not at the same time. I've lived in 10 states and moved 26 times. I like cooking and baking. I wrote 4 books, working on a fifth. Kept a flock of chickens, had two miniature donkeys and built a large barn. Had 4 different careers over a 60 year span of working full time. Became a great grandfather a year ago.

Those are all wonderful and good attributes, Gary, and God bless you! I shared odd and weird things about myself and I’m asking you to do the same. Please?

I just read “Confession of a Miscreant” and I agree, I’d have to place the story on the border between little known and odd. I bow to you for finally ‘fessing up. Things like that from basically good boys are damaging to keep buried inside. It was a great story, Gary!

CJ, That is quite a list.

I have one for you - I was once thrown out of a casino for counting cards at a blackjack table. D

WOW, you were? You must have an above average memory to even try and do that, Dave. More power to you!

It really has more to do with a constant tracking as to whether the deck was loaded with large or small valued cards. Pretty easy once you practice it. D

Still, that takes talent and memory —my hat is off to you.
