Reading your note to start (before the poems), all I could hear was mom preaching, “don’t wish your life away”. Oh, she was right. But do/did I listen ? No, not really…I was always wishing for something. In ways, I still do.
But looking back, maybe the better speech would have been “appreciate what you have as/when you have it”. Looking back, it’s something at times I realized, but could have done better. It seems it’s a lesson we often learn a little too late.
I agree, Ken, I was always wishing for something, whether it was a sunny day for the beach, or a snowy one for sledding … or as a grown up, heaven forbid, a huge win in the lottery!
“If you can’t have what you want, then want what you have.”
Oh, okay. I’m so sorry, Harley, but I don’t follow politics. I get too upset. Heck, I don’t sleep much now. When I start reading the news I am virtually Sleepless in Florida.
Probably keeps you sane. I try to cut back, yet, I keep getting drawn back in. This morning the question on my mind is how can people believe the lies coming from the president and his followers. It is like the story of the emperor with no clothes. Can’t they see the naked lies?

Thank you for restacking my post today, @Robert Cosmar 💋💋💋
Poems about size.
Little ones are concerned with size, aren’t they?
Thanks, Harley.
Not only little ones. Adults are too. Think about a recent election.

I have only one positive thing to say about it … Neither Robert nor I voted for him. Give him enough rope, he’ll eventually hang himself …
