I would of been very proud of you too C J . Great story about learning when young to care about all . Times have changed way to much for wrong reasons since then . Hugs to you and family
This will really date me … I remember gas when it was a quarter a gallon. We could cruise Main Street and our teen hangout, “The Tastee Freeze” all evening for $1.50.
Exactly. There were five of us girls who hung out and when one of us could get the family car, we would all chip in a quarter, or whatever change we could find, like you said.

Thank you, Mitch. You’re very kind.
hugs and peace to you, my dear friend.
Ahhh loved! Reminded me of being a kid and out for the day running errands with my dad… thank you 🤍
That’s pretty much where the poem came from, tenterhooks. Thank you!
You woke up this morning so you are not extinct yet, lol enjoy your day and remember to vote Blue
Robert and I voted Blue by mail, Patrick, a couple of weeks ago. Now if everyone will do their part and get out and vote blue …
Inflation, it used to be, hey buddy could you spare a dime.

What a great time that was.
Yes, you could buy a gallon with the change you found in the seat cushions in your car

You must be around my age, Patrick …
Yes I am in my late sixties
Seeing a child learn something like this is precious. I really enjoyed this, C.J.!
Thank you, Rod.
