I thought I had some charm when I was a whole lot younger, I was thinner, with long, straight hair, and I did wear short skirts, dresses and shorts! I guess I was attractive to some men! Yeah, all the wrong men! Most men were married! I remember one older gentlemen who had a crush on me. I would often see him in town when I walked past his house. I would say "hi", smile and engage in small talk! I haven't seen him. In years, I think he has since died! And there were others! Some single, some married!
Hi Connie! You may have had a lot of charm, but sex appeal was probably closer -- that will attract guys a lot faster! (wink) Thank you for the restack!
Hi C.J. My friend . I agree with most , yet have troubles with some . I mean i never looked great or was charming being a man . I dressed is comfortable cloths For me . Never was looking for a compliment , I was looking to be comfortable . Yet a few married guys I knew , if they showed up dressed great acting different , I knew they were going to cheat on their wives or at least try too . As for women , almost all have charm . I don't care about size , or shape . How they dress that is their choice . I do think charm is same as self confidence . man or woman . you can't have charm without having a heart . I have been hurt by many supposedly charming ladies . Hugs and peace to you C . J .
Incredible, Mitch. I agree with every point you've made here. There are so many ways to look at being charming and the same with self-confidence. I know I don't like when self-confidence goes to a person's head and it makes them act cocky, male or female! That's a definite turn off. And I agree, you can't have charm without heart. Thank you, my friend. Hugs and peace.
I am just telling you my feeling on it C . J . . Sure could i be wrong without a doubt , Yet I talk about things i have seen or done . I have never been over confident or even close . Yet i know men and women that led there self over shoot their brain . And it is a real turn off .Hugs and Peace to you my friend
I love how you said that: Over-shoot their brain. That’s exactly how it seems! LOL Yes it’s a turn off. I’m glad I’m out of the whole dating scene thing. I never enjoyed it. Way too many over-inflated egos are out there trolling for victims.
Nothing to be sorry for C.J. . Once drs told me I have between a year or two to live I stopped looking for anyone .Isn't fair to a ;lady if or when falls in love and i drop dead.To much sadness and hurt to her . HUGS

I think charming exudes from the eyes … a kindness … a knowingness… both of humour… compassion … acceptance … no judgement 💜

So very true about egos . I wish I could still date yet because of health troubles that is out of the question . Hugs to you C. J .
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, Mitch. Maybe someday?
Hugs back,
