Great message on relationships. You pinpointed important places on relationships. Honesty is a vital element in creating relationships. Honesty is one of my core values so I establish relationships with honest people. Apart from that, tolerance and respect is also important. I believe you can't stay with someone who doesn't respect you and it is something which is reciprocal.

Tolerance should also be there because we all have different values, likes and dislikes. But we stay together because we recognize these are part of life and for us to stay together we must accept these things

Yes! Unrealistic expectations and truly un- natural conceptions of what a man and a woman really are and what a functioning relationship looks like.

Thank you!!! I need these reminders too.. it's easy to go down this slippery slope.

Very few people are honest it seems and tha majority isn't even aware what they are really doing.. or so it seems to me.

People do not hold themselves accounable, they do not question their morives anymore and so it becomes a vicious cycle of blaming others with no way out.

You are so right, An. Omitting will allow guilt to grow and that’s a relationship killer in the long run, too.

Thank you for your important input!

This reflection on honesty and trust in relationships is incredibly insightful. The distinction between honesty and truthfulness really hits home. It’s true that trust is the cornerstone of any healthy relationship, and even small lies can create cracks that eventually lead to a breakdown. It’s crucial to address the root causes of dishonesty and work through them together. Creating a safe space where both partners can express their fears and concerns without judgment can help mend the relationship. Thanks for sharing this C.J!

Thank you for your comments about honesty and trust. It's clear to me you understand the differences and how important honest and open communication is to a relationship. Yes, judgment should be left at the curb with the other trash. It has no part in a vulnerable discussion between loving partners. Thank you again.

Thank you, Bethel. I agree, guilt does a real number on the kid who did something wrong and didn't own up to it. Thank you for your comments.
