I can only speak for myself but some are raised in painful places that are called loving homes. I truly love your beautiful words.

Hello Kristin. I’m sorry that you had pain while you were a child. I hope you had help to cope with it and that things are better for you as an adult.

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comment about my words. My day is much brighter! ❤️

You’re welcome. Pain is really a great teacher if you’re willing to be a student :)

Those who choose to be students of pain are stronger than I. Pain is something I would rather not learn from and if given a choice, I would run! (laughing).

Have a great day, Kristin.

I believe pain comes with a reason. It's either to change us or promote us. It depends on how we see and utilize it.

You may be right, Precious. I just don’t know. There are so many kinds of pain.

I can see where physical pain has a definite reason for being. A child falls down and skins his knee. The fall is the reason for the pain.

I’m just not sure about other forms of pain. Would you please explain more so I will understand?

What I mean is emotional pain. Someone might be behaving in a way which isn't right so pain will teach the person to change that behavior.

Emotional pain, yes. I agree. The behavior that caused it can be changed, but only if the one causing the pain can see they need to change the behavior and they’re willing to do so.

Thank you, Precious.
